SEGA has a long history with home consoles, which is why their games were released on cartridges, and the latest consoles already had CD and DVD drives. For this reason, the range of bags for SEGa consoles is quite diverse and extensive (similar to the Sleeves for Nintendo). These Sleeves protect not only boxes but also manuals and cartridges, which are quite old and deserve more care from a collector (if we want to keep them in working order for as long as possible).

Sega Game Protective Sleeves
Due to the era in which they released their games, SEGA offers a very diverse range of game and media packaging. These were times when standards weren't yet established (as they are today), and subsequent generations of consoles typically received their own unique packaging. We offer three categories of Sleeves, each serving a different purpose: Box Sleeves, which are inexpensive replacements for Protectors; Manual Sleeves, which are a bonus for the most dedicated collectors; and Cartridge Sleeves, which are an alternative to protectors for complete games (where protectors aren't suitable).
The Sleeves are identical in shape, but are sized to fit different items. They are made of 30-micron OPP film. They are heat-sealed on the sides and have a flap with an adhesive strip for closing.
It's important to note that all our Sleeves are manufactured in Poland. We support our market and our local producers.
Sega Case Protective Sleeves
Case Protective Sleeves serve several purposes. First, they can be a budget-friendly alternative to Protective Sleeves, which are a more aesthetically pleasing and more durable standard for collectors. Another scenario is to initially protect a collection and then gradually upgrade to standard Protective Sleeves (e.g., in the case of the NTSC-J version of the Sega Saturn, pre-protect games with CD Case Protective Sleeves and then switch to CD Case Protective Sleeves). This is most often done by those just starting out in protecting their collections; thanks to their very low price, they can quickly and easily pre-protect a large number of collections. The final option used by collectors is when the Sleeves are used to protect collections that are not on display. Games are not stored on shelves but, for example, in boxes or warehouses. In such cases, Sleeves can actually be a sufficient solution.
Sega Manual Protective Sleeves
Unlike Protective Sleeves, Manual Protective Sleeves are an additional protection option for the most dedicated collectors. Most often used by collectors who already have their games protected with Protectors, they also provide additional protection for the manuals. Manual Sleeves not only provide additional protection from dirt, moisture, and abrasions/bends, but also enhance aesthetics. The Sleeves flatten the manuals and give their glossy material a much better appearance.
All manual Sleeves are sized to accommodate even the thickest booklets while still fitting comfortably in their boxes. No need to roll or bend the set inside the box.
Sega Cartridge Protector Sleeves
Cartridge Sleeves can be used for two purposes. They can be a cheap alternative to Protectors (e.g., MegaDrive Cartridge Bags and MegaDrive Cartridge Protectors) for cartridges only. The second option is to provide additional protection for complete games (similar to manuals), where Protectors won't work. The most important function of the Sleeves is to protect against moisture, which cartridges are particularly sensitive to.
These cartridge Sleeves are designed to have a slight amount of play, which increases ease of use, but are also snug enough to fit easily into the boxes and fit into the holders.
