Film Protectors
Protectors are the standard way for collectors to protect film boxes. Protectors protect films from dirt, dust, and accidental splashes, as well as mechanical damage such as abrasions or impacts. Besides their protective function, they also enhance aesthetics and unify the appearance of a collection thanks to the fully glossy material from which they are made. This is particularly noticeable in older boxes. These boxes often show significant material fatigue, and protectors add a new shine. Their robust construction ensures long-term protection, even with frequent use. Repeated opening and closing of the protectors does not degrade them.
Films were released in certain formats, such as DVD, DVD FAT, and Blu-ray cases. We also offer CD case protectors and cases with additional dust jackets.
The protectors differ only in size but have a similar form. They are made of clear, 0.25mm-thick PET foil. They have flaps on two opposite walls that close in the same direction. This allows the front of the box to be more aesthetically pleasing when displaying a given title.
