Our Protective Sleeves are divided into three categories, designed to meet a wide range of needs and applications. They are suitable both for beginner collectors looking for a cost-effective way to protect their items while saving money for new additions to their collection, and for advanced collectors who want to provide the best possible protection for their treasured items.
The sleeves can serve as an affordable temporary solution for protecting boxes before upgrading to dedicated box protectors, as well as a complementary protection option for manuals and cartridges when the main box is already secured with a protector. Our Protective Sleeves are designed for collectors of video games, movies, and music alike.
All of our sleeves share the same construction and differ only in size. They are made from 30-micron OPP film, sealed along the sides, and feature a resealable adhesive flap. OPP film (commonly referred to as cellophane) has a very smooth surface, giving the protected item a clean, glossy appearance.

Protective Sleeves for Boxes
Protective Sleeves for Boxes are an affordable way to start protecting your collection. Their low cost makes them an excellent entry-level solution for collectors who want to safeguard their items without a significant investment. These sleeves help protect boxes from minor scuffs, dirt, and dust.
They are generally considered a temporary solution, and many collectors gradually replace them with dedicated Box Protectors as their collections grow. For example, a collection of PlayStation 3 games can be quickly and inexpensively protected using Blu-ray Protective Sleeves, with individual items later upgraded to premium Blu-ray Box Protectors for improved appearance and durability.
Compared to Box Protectors, Protective Sleeves are less durable and provide a less premium presentation. Nevertheless, they perform their protective role well and are an excellent choice during the early stages of building a collection.

With Manual Sleeves, you can protect both standard-sized manuals, such as those found in PlayStation 2, Wii, or Xbox 360 games (using our DVD Manual Sleeves), as well as uniquely sized manuals and inserts, such as those included with Nintendo Famicom games.
